The Merker Group is working with an Am Law 100 firm to find a mid-level Labor & Employment Associate to join the firm's California team. This attorney may sit in the Los Angeles, Sacramento, San Diego, San Francisco, or Silicon Valley office.
Job Requirements:
- 2-6 years of labor & employment litigation experience, including California wage and hour class action litigation, PAGA claims, single plaintiff employment litigation, employee handbooks and day to day advice and counseling.
- Candidates should have strong experience with discovery, motion practice, taking and defending depositions, and researching and drafting pleadings, motions and other court filings.
- Experience with trial preparation in both state and federal courts and participation in settlement conferences and negotiations preferred.
- Must have a J.D. and top academic credentials.
- Must have an active California Bar license.
- Limited career moves.
